Wales fans ponder which teams to support at World Cup 2026

Summary

Wales fans face a dilemma at the World Cup, having missed qualifying after losing to Bosnia-Herzegovina in the playoffs. With no home side to follow, supporters may choose to back other teams, like New Zealand, South Korea, or Curacao, based on club connections or personal preferences. Swansea City players Marko Stamenic and Cameron Burgess are among those representing nations Welsh fans could support during the tournament. The World Cup kicks off this summer, promising excitement and stories as teams clash in Canada, Mexico, and the US.
