Wales prepares younger players for Test match against Barbarians

Summary

Wales' national rugby team will face the Barbarians at Twickenham on Saturday, June 24. Following a challenging Six Nations campaign marked by key injuries, head coach Sean Lynn has included bright prospects like Anwen Owen, Freya Bell, and Lily Hawkins in his 33-player squad. This match serves as a developmental opportunity for younger players to gain international experience as the team looks to improve ahead of upcoming fixtures against South Africa and the USA. Hawkins has transitioned from her A-level exams to joining the national team, while Bell and Owen also aim to showcase their skills in this high-stakes environment.
