Wales prop Assiratti out for summer series with calf injury

Wales prop Keiron Assiratti has been ruled out of the summer matches due to a calf injury sustained during a URC quarter-final defeat against Stormers. Head coach Steve Tandy faces a setback, as Assiratti joins Bath back Louie Hennessey, who is also sidelined with a shoulder injury. Wales has not yet announced a replacement, though Ben Warren, Dillon Lewis, and Sam Wainwright are available as options. The Welsh squad will compete in a double-header against the Barbarians on 27 June, followed by three Nations Championship matches in July against Fiji, Argentina, and South Africa.
