Wales to host Nations League matches at Cardiff City Stadium this autumn

Wales will play their upcoming Nations League matches at Cardiff City Stadium this autumn, specifically on October 1 against Norway and October 4 against Denmark, as well as a match with Portugal on November 17. While there were discussions about moving some matches to the larger Principality Stadium in preparation for Euro 2028, the Football Association of Wales confirmed the decision to maintain games at Cardiff City Stadium. This decision follows Wales' promotion to the highest level of Nations League football after finishing first in League B Group 4 in November 2024. Both Craig Bellamy and Football Association of Wales chief Noel Mooney have expressed satisfaction with the atmosphere and support at Cardiff City Stadium.
