Wales Women's Under-23 squad holds first training camp in Cardiff

The inaugural Wales Women's Under-23 squad convened for a training camp at the Vale Resort in Cardiff on October 6, 2026. This historic gathering aims to address the developmental gap between under-19 and senior international levels, as many players struggle with the transition. Coach Nia Davies emphasized the importance of the new setup in retaining talent and providing a competitive pathway. The Football Association of Wales is also investing in this program to ensure long-term growth and to retain dual-nationality players.
