Wall ISD hires Jason McCoy as new baseball coach

Wall Independent School District has appointed Jason McCoy as its new baseball coach, filling the position left by state champion Jeremy Gordon. McCoy arrives after coaching the Bowie Jackrabbits for three seasons, where he recorded a 45-40-2 overall record. The Hawks reached the state semifinals last season and are looking to build on that performance. McCoy will also join the football coaching staff this fall.
