Walsall adds Huddersfield Town midfielder Antony Evans on season-long loan

Walsall completed the signing of Antony Evans from Huddersfield Town on a season-long loan agreement. The 27-year-old midfielder has yet to make a competitive appearance for The Terriers during the current campaign. This transaction reunites Evans with manager Lee Grant, who previously coached him during his time at Huddersfield. Evans arrives as the 15th signing for the club this summer transfer window. Walsall currently holds second place in the League Two standings as the season progresses. The move provides the midfielder an opportunity for regular playing time under his former head coach.
