Warriors consider Joel Embiid trade instead of pursuing Anthony Davis

The Golden State Warriors are exploring a potential trade involving a swap of Jimmy Butler for Joel Embiid with the Philadelphia 76ers. This proposition comes as the Warriors seek to bolster their roster alongside Stephen Curry. A trade for Embiid, while beneficial, raises concerns due to his recent injury history. Experts suggest the Warriors would need to give up more assets for Anthony Davis, making Embiid a more attractive option despite the risks. The outcome of these discussions remains to be seen as the offseason progresses.
