Warriors prepare to offer Curry $136M extension after James signs with 76ers

Summary

The Golden State Warriors face uncertainty after failing to acquire LeBron James, who signed a two-year, $8 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. This has led to speculation regarding Steph Curry's future with the team. Despite concerns about the Warriors' championship prospects, the franchise is expected to offer Curry a contract extension worth up to $136.7 million through the 2028-29 season. Curry's loyalty to the Warriors remains solid, and the extension would allow him to finish his career with the team he joined as a rookie.
