Warriors pursue DeMar DeRozan as top free agent after Kings waiver

Summary

The Golden State Warriors are targeting DeMar DeRozan, a six-time All-Star, as they seek to enhance their roster during the ongoing NBA offseason. DeRozan, recently waived by the Sacramento Kings, is considered one of the top available free agents after averaging 18.4 points last season. Other contending teams, including the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Denver Nuggets, have also expressed interest in the veteran forward. Reports suggest the Warriors are keen on adding DeRozan to bring offensive depth, especially with Jimmy Butler recovering from an ACL injury.
