Warriors to celebrate Don Nelson with 'Nellie Night' on October 6

The Golden State Warriors will host 'Nellie Night' on October 6 at Chase Center, honoring Hall of Fame head coach Don Nelson. The event will coincide with their first home preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers, beginning at 7 p.m. Attendees can expect special tributes to Nelson, who coached the Warriors for 11 seasons and passed away on August 9. Fans will receive a commemorative pin upon entry, and limited-edition 'Nellie Night' beer koozies will be available for purchase.
