WASC Dolphins achieve 115 first-place finishes at swim meet

The Watertown Area Swim Club Dolphins hosted the Too Cool for the Pool meet at the Prairie Lakes Wellness Center on May 30-31. A total of 43 WASC swimmers produced 115 first-place finishes against competitors from several other local swim clubs. Edie Hoftiezer, Marie Makens, Samuel Hoftiezer, and Owen Hoots each won eight events, while Mckenzie McKeever secured seven wins. The summer season for South Dakota Swimming continues, culminating in the State A Long Course Championships scheduled for July 24-26 in Rapid City.
