Washington and Lee and Southern Virginia set schedules for 2026 season

Washington and Lee and Southern Virginia have released their football schedules for the 2026 season. Washington and Lee, led by head coach Garrett LeRose in his ninth season, finished last year with a 7-4 overall record and a victory in the Cape Charles Bowl. The Generals begin their campaign on September 5 with a home game against Wittenberg. Meanwhile, Southern Virginia enters the season under the leadership of first-year interim head coach Chris Ehorn, Jr. The Knights, who recorded a 6-4 mark last year, open their schedule on September 3 against the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Both programs face a slate of opponents leading into the late autumn months.
