Washington Commanders activate Deatrich Wise Jr. ahead of Giants matchup

The Washington Commanders announced several roster moves including the activation of defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. from the Reserve/PUP list on October 10, 2026. Wise's activation, along with the signings of linebacker Austin Keys and the elevation of safety Darren Hall and receiver Van Jefferson from the practice squad, aims to boost the team's performance against the New York Giants. The Commanders, struggling with injuries and a 1-3 record, will look to improve their 30th-ranked third-down conversion rate. They face the Giants, who currently hold a 3-1 record, on October 11, 2026.
