Washington Commanders' coach/QB duo ranks 18th among NFL combinations
Summary

The Washington Commanders' head coach Dan Quinn and quarterback Jayden Daniels are ranked 18th among NFL coach/quarterback duos by Matt Verderame. This ranking comes after a disappointing 2025 season where the Commanders finished 5-12, largely due to Daniels missing 10 games with injuries. The team previously reached the NFC Championship Game in 2024 but struggled in the following year. With a stronger defense added this offseason, the Commanders hope to improve in the 2026 season, emphasizing Daniels’ health and new offensive coordinator David Blough’s relationship with him as critical factors for success.
