Washington Commanders sign center Trey Hill to bolster offensive line depth

The Washington Commanders have signed center Trey Hill as they look to add depth at the position. Hill, a sixth-round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2021, has appeared in 25 games, starting three. He joins the Commanders after previous stints with the Bengals, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, and Tennessee Titans. His versatility allows him to also provide support in the guard position. Hill's addition comes as the team plans for training camp, particularly while Nick Allegretti is recovering from a calf strain. In a corresponding move, the Commanders released cornerback Tre Hawkins.
