College SportsFive-star edge rusher Jalanie George attended the Washington Huskies 24-10 victory over Washington State during the Apple Cup. The visit marked the prospect's second trip to Seattle this year, following an initial appearance at Junior Day in March. Rivals ranks the Desert Edge High School athlete as the top edge rusher and second overall prospect in the 2028 recruiting class. Coaching staff led by Jedd Fisch continue to pursue the player, who maintains a top six list featuring Auburn, Florida, Miami, Ohio State, and Oklahoma. Projections from Brandon Huffman and Steve Wiltfong currently favor Washington to land his eventual commitment. George is scheduled to return to Husky Stadium on November 21 for the matchup against the Indiana Hoosiers.
