College SportsThe Washington women's basketball program hosted five-star prospect Bella Owumi for an official visit this week. A forward from Tilton High School in New Hampshire, Owumi is considered the No. 34-ranked prospect in the 2027 class. Her recruitment list includes Central Florida, Duke, Florida, and Florida State, with additional visits planned over the coming months. As the reigning New Hampshire Gatorade Player of the Year, Owumi averaged 14.5 points and 7.2 rebounds last season while leading her team to a 25-4 record. Coach Tina Langley continues to pursue several top-ranked recruits to bolster the Huskies' 2027 class, which already maintains interest in the nation's top-ranked player, Kaleena Smith.
