Washington hosts top-ranked 2027 punter Nolan Balke on official visit

College SportsThe Washington Huskies will welcome punter Nolan Balke, ranked No. 1 in the 2027 class, for an official visit on June 19. Balke, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound athlete from Casteel High School in Arizona, received a scholarship offer from special teams coordinator Chris Petrilli on June 8. Competing for his recruitment, the Arizona Wildcats also extended an offer and have scheduled a visit for June 12. Balke is recognized for his strong performance, averaging over 45 yards per punt. With senior punter Hunter Green set to conclude his eligibility in 2026, Balke's decision could lead to an immediate competition for the starting position in 2027.
