Washington Huskies compete for five-star forward Ahmed Nur from 2027 class

The Washington Huskies are among the top contenders for five-star power forward Ahmed Nur, ranked 23rd overall and 4th in his class by the 247Sports Composite. Nur, a Bella Vista Prep standout, has received 26 scholarship offers, including from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, SMU, Texas, USC, and Washington. He will visit Washington in September after taking previous visits to Purdue and has upcoming trips to Ole Miss and Syracuse. His strong summer performance includes winning MVP at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, averaging 14.8 points and 7 rebounds per game, and leading the Power 5 in the 3SSB circuit with 15.3 PPG. The Huskies are also pursuing Nur's teammate, five-star center Darius Wabbington.
