Washington Huskies favored to land 5-star edge rusher Jalanie George

The Washington Huskies are positioned strongly to recruit five-star edge rusher Jalanie George, according to recent projections from Rivals' Brandon Huffman and Steve Wiltfong. George, a 6-foot-5, 245-pound player from Desert Edge High School in Arizona, is ranked as the No. 9 overall player in the 2028 class. Washington competes with Oklahoma as the leading contender for his commitment after he listed the Huskies among his top six schools in May. George, who has already visited Washington, plans to return for a gameday visit this fall, possibly alongside some high school teammates committed to the 2027 class.
