Washington Huskies learn Washington State's starting quarterback for season opener

The Washington Huskies will face the Washington State Cougars in the Apple Cup on Sept. 6 at Husky Stadium in Seattle. The Cougars have named Caden Pinnick as their starting quarterback after his transfer from UC Davis, where he had a successful season. Pinnick led UC Davis last year with 3,206 passing yards, 32 touchdowns, and added three rushing touchdowns. This matchup is significant, as Washington previously defeated Pinnick and UC Davis 70-10 last season.
