Washington Nationals secure extra innings victory over Orioles at Camden Yards

The Washington Nationals captured a 4-3 extra innings victory against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards on June 27. The Nationals improved to 5-5 in extra inning games this season after rallying from a tie in the eighth inning. Foster Griffin delivered a strong performance, striking out nine batters over seven innings. The Nationals initially took a 3-1 lead but allowed the Orioles to tie the game in the eighth. In the top of the tenth, Daylen Lile's hit brought in the go-ahead run, and the Nationals held off the Orioles in the bottom half to end their losing streak. The series concludes with a final game on June 28.
