Washington Township enters rankings after victory over Millville

Washington Township moved into the New Jersey Super 25 football rankings following a 39-20 win over Millville on Sept. 4. The victory extended the Minutemen's winning streak to 16 games and included five takeaways, four of which were interceptions. The loss dropped Millville out of the top 10 as Rumson-Fair Haven joined the rankings at No. 25. Elsewhere, multiple ranked teams prepared for upcoming matchups including Winslow against Glassboro and St. Joseph (Montvale) versus Delbarton. Washington Township faces Williamstown on Sept. 10, while Millville travels to Kingsway on Sept. 18.
