Dani Rhodes Watt, a former multi-sport standout at Waukesha West High School, received induction into the school’s Hall of Fame and saw her jersey number 4 officially retired this weekend. A two-sport athlete during her tenure, Rhodes Watt earned recognition as Wisconsin State Girls Soccer Player of the Year twice before continuing her career at the University of Wisconsin. During her collegiate career, she secured Big Ten Forward of the Year honors in 2019 and contributed to two Big Ten basketball championships. Following her time in college, she played professional soccer for the Chicago Red Stars and Thróttur Reykjavík before concluding her athletic career in 2023. She is married to NFL player T.J. Watt, with whom she has a daughter. The ceremony at the high school recognized her contributions to both the soccer and basketball programs as a student athlete.
