Wes Tucker named North Florida PGA Section Professional of the Year

Wes Tucker, director of golf at St. Johns Golf Club, received the North Florida PGA Section Professional of the Year award during an awards banquet in Orlando. Tucker has overseen golf operations at the Elkton course since 1989 and was previously named the Northern Chapter Pro of the Year. Additionally, he was elected secretary of the section, positioning him to be president of the state's third-largest PGA section. The banquet also included recognitions for Duke Butler III and Bill Hughes, who were inducted into the section Hall of Fame.
