West Brom extended its unbeaten home record to 11 games following a 1-1 draw against QPR at The Hawthorns on Friday. QPR initially took the lead in the 38th minute when an effort from Rumarn Burrell deflected off Chris Mepham for an own goal. Callum Styles equalized for West Brom three minutes later, securing a point for his side. The result prevented QPR from moving to the top of the championship table, which follows West Ham's 6-0 win over Wrexham earlier in the week. In other league action, Bolton recorded a 1-0 victory over Cardiff after a late goal from Gale.
