West Bromwich Albion is assessing potential replacements following the departure of captain Alex Mowatt to Derby County on August 14. Mowatt, who was instrumental in midfield, has left a leadership void after a recent 4-1 win in the Carabao Cup. The club has several options, including Jayson Molumby and Callum Styles, while recent academy product Harry Whitwell may also step up. The move, reportedly worth around £650,000, comes as Albion prepares for their league season opener against Norwich this Saturday.
