West Ham United sign Edvin Austbø and target further transfer deadline additions

West Ham United have secured the signing of Norway Under-21 winger Edvin Austbø from Viking FK. The 21-year-old joins the Premier League club on a four-year contract, which includes an option for a further season. Austbø, who will wear the No. 35 shirt, cited discussions with Nuno and Nils Koppen as key factors in his decision to move to east London. The transfer follows an extensive scouting process by the club as they look to bolster their attacking options for the current campaign. With the transfer window set to close on Tuesday, West Ham continue to pursue additional reinforcements. The club has been linked with potential moves for Nottingham Forest defender Morato and Rangers midfielder Connor Barron as they finalize their squad ahead of the deadline.
