Westlake football defeats Euless Trinity 35-10 at home

The Westlake Chaparrals improved to 2-0 on the season with a 35-10 victory over the visiting Euless Trinity Trojans on Friday night. Westlake established an early lead by holding the Trojans scoreless in the first quarter and carried a 14-3 advantage into halftime. The second half saw the Chaparrals outscore the visitors 21-7 to pull away for the win. A key highlight of the second half effort included a defensive touchdown scored following a blocked punt. Mateus Teixeira forced a fumble from Kohen Fiefia during the contest as Westlake maintained control throughout the evening at Westlake High School. The win keeps the Chaparrals undefeated early in the 2026 season following their victory against the Dallas-area program.
