White Sox and Astros begin three-game series in Houston

The Chicago White Sox travel to Houston to face the Astros in a three-game series opener starting August 31. Anthony Kay is slated to pitch for Chicago, while Peter Lambert takes the mound for Houston with a 3.66 ERA and 125 strikeouts. Prior to the game, Chicago reinstated left-handed pitcher Tyler Schweitzer from the paternity list and optioned Tyler Gilbert to Triple-A Charlotte.
