The Chicago White Sox maintained their 2 1/2-game lead in the AL Central by defeating the Minnesota Twins 10-1 on Sunday. A committee of five relievers, led by opener Bryan Hudson, combined for 15 strikeouts and allowed only four hits throughout the game. Hagen Smith earned the win after tossing three hitless innings in relief. Offensively, Chicago capitalized on an RBI single from Munetaka Murakami and a five-run eighth inning that featured home runs from Randal Grichuk and Kyle Teel. Sam Antonacci contributed three doubles and two RBIs to the winning effort. Brooks Lee accounted for the only Minnesota run with a solo home run in the seventh inning.
