White Sox defeat Rangers 4-2 to regain first place in AL Central

The Chicago White Sox topped the Texas Rangers 4-2 on Wednesday night at Globe Life Field, reclaiming first place in the AL Central with a timely offensive display and strong bullpen performance. Chase Meidroth led the offense with four hits and two RBIs. After initially leading 1-0, the White Sox faced a tie at 1-1 before scoring three more runs, including an RBI single by Meidroth and another by Andrew Benintendi. Grant Taylor starred on the mound with five strikeouts in two hitless innings of relief. The White Sox will take a day off before hosting the Houston Astros in a weekend series.
