The Chicago White Sox placed reliever Huáscar Brazobán on the 15-day injured list due to a left lat strain. Brazobán's injury occurred after he pitched one inning in a loss to the Texas Rangers. The team recalled right-hander Jonathan Cannon from Triple-A Charlotte and also put outfielder Andrew Benintendi on the bereavement/family medical emergency list.
