Whitefish boys and girls soccer teams sweep Thompson Falls

Whitefish recorded a sweep against Thompson Falls in soccer matches held on Saturday. The boys team earned a 7-2 victory behind a three-minute hat trick from Martin Christiansen, who scored in the 33rd, 34th, and 35th minutes. Graysen Rembaugh added two goals for the Bulldogs, who outshot their opponents 24-4. In the girls match, Whitefish secured a 5-0 win. Neva Sliman scored twice for the Bulldogs, with additional goals contributed by Sage Ordway, Adelle Flynn, and Atley Bingham. The Whitefish girls controlled possession throughout the contest, creating 44 shots on goal compared to one for the Blue Hawks. Coach Kelly Ordway noted the effectiveness of the midfield connection between Bingham, Flynn, and Sliman in generating scoring opportunities.
