Wichita State lost to Murray State, 93-87, during an exhibition match on Wednesday night at Charles Koch Arena. The Shockers had a narrow lead of 37-36 at halftime but allowed the Racers to score 57 points in the second half, thanks to a shooting percentage of 52% from the field and 6-of-9 from three-point range. Dillon Battie led Wichita State with 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Shockers will play two more exhibition games before the regular season starts against California State University, Northridge on Nov. 4.
