Wichita State volleyball finishes Missouri Tournament with two losses

Wichita State University ended play at the Missouri Tournament on Saturday with losses to Arkansas State University and Missouri. The Shockers fell to Arkansas State in four sets with scores of 25-19, 24-26, 25-18, and 25-22. Against host Missouri, Wichita State lost in a three-set sweep by scores of 25-19, 25-13, and 25-18. McKenzie Jones led the team with 12 kills during the Arkansas State match, while Maddie Wilson and Jenna Cubbage recorded seven kills apiece against Missouri. The team now prepares to return home for a match against No. 22 Kansas on Tuesday. This upcoming game marks the second meeting between the two programs in as many weeks.
