Wichita Wind Surge suffer franchise-record 10th consecutive loss

The Wichita Wind Surge recorded their 10th consecutive loss, setting a franchise record, following a 10-2 defeat against the Tulsa Drillers on July 4 at Equity Bank Park. This marks the sixth straight game in which the Surge allowed 10 or more runs. Wichita's record now stands at 1-10 for the second half of the season, as the Drillers scored in five consecutive innings, including three runs in both the seventh and eighth innings. The game drew an attendance of 8,182, the largest crowd of the season and the 12th-largest in park history.
