Wild West Shootout finale announces record $50,000 winner's purse

The 2027 Wild West Shootout finale at Central Arizona Raceway will offer a record $50,000-to-win, plus another $25,000 in lap money. Promoters revealed the increased prize during an announcement, expanding from last season's $25,000. The event is scheduled for January 9-10, 13, and 15-17, with the chance for a driver to earn up to $168,000 by sweeping the miniseries. The total purse exceeds $550,000 for Late Models, modifieds, and X-mods. Larry Henk of Rio Grande Waste Services pushed for the upgrade to increase competitive payouts for racers.
