Johnson recorded 12 goals and 55 points last season with the Wheeling Nailers. Ciona, a sixth-round NHL draft choice by the Calgary Flames, played 47 games with the Calgary Wranglers, scoring five goals. Senden spent last season with the Colorado Eagles, contributing four goals over 53 games. The Penguins aim to strengthen their roster after reaching the Eastern Conference Final against the Toronto Marlies.
