Will Howard named Steelers starting QB against Jets

The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced that Will Howard will start at quarterback for their Week 2 preseason matchup against the New York Jets. Howard’s selection follows a solid preseason performance where he completed 7-of-9 passes for 86 yards and led a touchdown drive against the Green Bay Packers. Coach Mike McCarthy plans to see more of Howard and Drew Allar during the final two preseason games. Mason Rudolph and Aaron Rodgers will not play in this contest.
