Will Ospreay will defend his AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley at the All Out event in Chicago on September 26. The announcement followed a main event victory for Ospreay, during which Moxley intervened to stop a post-match assault by Gabe Kidd. After clearing the ring, Moxley handed the championship belt to Ospreay before appearing to distance himself from the champion. Moxley enters the contest as a four-time World Champion who currently holds the Continental Championship. He successfully defended that title against Nigel McGuinness at the most recent event, and he also earned a win over AR Fox in a Continental Championship Eliminator match earlier this week.
