He rebounded nicely tonight (June 24), winning his match with New Japan’s El Phantasmo and escaping his run-in with his Owen Hart Cup finals opponent Swerve Strickland not too much worse for wear (better than we can say for Daniel Garcia, but more on that in a moment). Things weren’t going to plan for Will Ospreay when the last Dynamite before AEW’s Forbidden Door PPV with NJPW, CMLL & Stardom this Sunday, however. Ospreay was taking part in his new mentor and former attempted murderer Jon Moxley’s pre-game ritual with his Death Riders. He’s known for his agility, but Bruv backed into a metal tub that’s sitting in whatever corner of the Rio Rancho Events Center AEW production chose to film this. He ends up sitting next to the tub and laughing at himself.
