Xavier Young, a 6-foot-10 center from Dallas, has announced his commitment to LSU for the 2027 class after reclassifying from the 2028 class. Young, ranked No. 11 nationally in his original class, chose LSU over offers from several notable programs including Maryland and Michigan. His commitment adds to LSU's impressive recruiting efforts, placing them at the top of national rankings.
