Will Zellers joins Bruins prospects for rookie camp at Warrior Ice Arena

Will Zellers enters the Boston Bruins rookie camp this Friday at Warrior Ice Arena with an opportunity to establish himself within the organization. Acquired from Colorado in a trade involving Charlie Coyle, the 20-year-old forward is expected to show his offensive skill set during the team's upcoming Prospects Showcase. The Bruins travel to Buffalo this weekend for games against Pittsburgh on Sunday and Buffalo on Monday. While this camp does not guarantee a roster spot, team staff will evaluate Zellers' play away from the puck and his defensive contributions. Boston seeks to develop young players who can create pressure and challenge for roles within the NHL roster. Zellers will look to distinguish himself as a potential contributor as the Bruins continue their long-term transition with young prospects like Fraser Minten and James Hagens.
