William Bowers commits to Iowa State football for 2027 season

Kicker William Bowers from Elizabethton, Tennessee, announced his commitment to Iowa State on Sunday. Bowers, who received a scholarship offer from Iowa State on June 2, indicated his gratitude to coaches and family on Twitter. The 6-foot, 202-pound kicker had a successful 2025 season, achieving 58 touchbacks and earning a spot on the TSWA Class 4A All-State team. In addition to Iowa State, he also received offers from Air Force, Army, Bowling Green, Navy, and Memphis. Bowers is set to join the Cyclones in 2027.
