William Contreras says Dodgers were lucky to sweep Brewers in 2025

William Contreras expressed that the Los Angeles Dodgers were fortunate to sweep the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2025 National League Championship Series. Following that season, the Brewers achieved a 4-0 sweep over the Dodgers this year, marking a unique revenge sweep in North American sports. Contreras acknowledged that while the Dodgers deserved their success, the outcome of their 2025 matchup did not reflect the teams' true parity. He stated that luck played a significant role in the results of both series, noting that in this year’s sweep, the Brewers might have also benefited from fortunate breaks. Milwaukee is now four games away from their first championship.
