Williams unveils 1981-inspired livery for Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid

Williams Racing will debut a special white, green, and blue livery during this weekend’s Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid. The design commemorates the team's 1981 FW07C car, which competed at the Circuito de Jarama. Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon will drive the updated vehicles at the new 22-turn Madring circuit. Team principal James Vowles stated the livery reflects the organization's focus on innovation as it attempts to move up the Constructors' Championship standings. Williams currently sits ninth in the rankings with 11 points. Sainz, who is a native of Madrid, showcased the design at the team’s Fan Zone in the Plaza De Callao on Monday.
