Williamston, Lansing Catholic secure victories at Volley Turf Takeover

Williamston and Lansing Catholic both had strong performances during the inaugural Volley Turf Takeover on August 20, hosted at Cougar Stadium in Lansing. Williamston secured a four-set win against Portland, with scores of 25-21, 17-25, 27-25, and 26-24. In the event's final match, Lansing Catholic also triumphed, winning in four sets over DeWitt. This event marked the first instance of outdoor high school volleyball being played in Greater Lansing, inspired by similar events at East Grand Rapids over the last three seasons.
