Willie Gault, Deon Grant appear on College Football Hall of Fame ballot

Tennessee wide receiver/kick returner Willie Gault and safety Deon Grant are on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame. The National Football Foundation announced 227 candidates for the 2027 class on June 1. This includes 80 players and nine coaches from the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision and 99 players and 39 coaches from NCAA divisional and NAIA ranks. The final class will be chosen by votes from over 12,000 NFF members and Hall of Famers and will be announced in early 2027. Gault and Grant seek to join Tennessee's 27 Hall of Fame members, including 23 players and four coaches.
